DESCRIPTION

Located in the historic heart of Beauvais, this project aims on one hand to refurbish a 19th-century house, historic heritage of the city, and to create new housing units on the other hand. 

The architecture of the new housing units created echoes the duality of materials that we can be found on the existing building. The standing seam steel, typical of this territory, is terra cotta colored and echoes the brick of the building. The off-white brick sub-base echoes the tone of the limestone of the Oise river basins while reinforcing the horizontality of the base.
